Stephen J. Baker

Stephen Baker is an Autdesk Certified Instrucgtor in Maya and Softimage. He has over 10 years of university level teaching experience and is currently an Instructor at the University of Colorado at Denver in their digital animation program as well as founder and instructor for Kolbe Film School online. Here he teaches Character Creation and Character Animation alongside professional animators.

His specialty is in the environment design and character animation field. He has been using XSI since version 4 and has expert knowledge in 3DS Max, Maya and the integration of XSI into these pipelines.

Welcome to the new site of The Shepherd's Workshop, LLC . Our office has founded to provide design services specifically focusing on the Roman Catholic Church since 1996.

Stephen J. Baker NCARB, Principal

Stephen Baker is a licensed architect in the State of Colorado.  He has a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.  He has been serving the Catholic Church in its building efforts since 1996.  While working with several leading professionals in the Catholic Church building industry, he has been the project manager and lead designer for numerous Catholic Churches across the nation. 

Stephen is also an Instructor at the University of Colorado at Denver, teaching courses in design and 3-d modeling, animation and rigging. Additionally he has been invited to lecture on digital collaboration and fundraising tools for parishes at the National Form/Reform Conference on Liturgy in Kansas, City 2006.

Stephen resides in Thornton with his wife Martha and daughters Bridget and Laura and son Benjamin.   Stephen also serves on the Board of Directors for Holy Solies Media, a 501(c) 3 public educational charity focused on the education of student through interactive media.
